UHPLC (Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography)
Liquid chromatography performed on columns packed with particles of 2 μm or less in diameter; separation times in UHPLC are close to those obtained in CPS with 5 μm particles.
Enantiomers (chiral compounds, optical isomers); enantiomers (chiral compounds)
Stereoisomers are mirror images of each other. They have the same chemical properties. Each enantiomer has the property of deflecting polarized light. They can only be separated by chromatography by interaction with an optically pure compound, usually grafted onto the stationary phase.
