1. Vocabulary and evolution
There are so many of these terms, but they are used in different ways, from one company to another, and even redundantly. It therefore seems appropriate to agree on some preliminary definitions, which do not have the value of standards, but will enable us to develop our presentation with less ambiguity.

Functional analysis
A set of functions, written in non-technical form, specifying the packaging needs of each user, whether consumer, commercial marketing or industrial. It is this analysis that will define the solution in terms of quality.
