1. Define areas and opportunities for improvement in a QMS and the associated responsibilities
Everything that goes to make up a company's day-to-day work is open to improvement. However, in the context of a quality management system, it is recognized that incremental corrections and improvements, while necessary, are not sufficient to reflect a structured and effective improvement approach.
The following areas for improvement are usually taken into account in quality initiatives (cf. ISO 9001 § 9.1.3 - Analysis and assessment):
improving product and service quality in line with customer requirements and satisfaction;
improving the performance of external service providers in terms of your requirements and customer satisfaction;
