8. Single Risk Assessment Document

A single risk assessment document (DUER) must be prepared in accordance with regulations by any company that employs workers. Each company determines the organizational structure to be implemented by involving its staff and other individuals working on-site in order to bring together the necessary expertise. This document serves as a means of compiling the results of risk analyses and may take the form of a table:

  • which identifies hazards by providing the following information (either from drop-down lists or entered freely):

    • the work area in question, clearly defining its boundaries,

    • the exposed individuals based on their activities (all staff, production/operations, maintenance [automation-electrical], maintenance [mechanical-metal fabrication], chemistry, QSE [quality, safety, environment], administration, visitors, etc.),
