Actuator

The part of a system that acts on a machine to modify its state or behavior. In the case of a drone, this would be an organ that enables it to be piloted.

Adaptation

In the field of automatic control, this is the ability of a controller to modify its action according to signals measured by sensors.

Sensor

Device used to capture a physical phenomenon and output it as a signal.

Drone

Aircraft operating without a pilot on board.

Artificial intelligence

A broad family of methods that are capable of acting with discernment in a given situation, essentially by learning from experience. Here again, we add a nuance: decision-making.
