3. "What does it cost? analyze costs
To reduce the costs or resources used in a solution to meet requirements, we look to see if the elements generating costs are indeed directly involved in meeting the expected performance: if not, we try to eliminate them; if so, to find alternatives.
3.1 Establish the cost structure of the solution studied
The costs of the components and other inputs required to implement the solution under study are collected, on the one hand from purchasers or suppliers directly, and on the other hand from management control or internal service providers.
