5. Debrief to capitalize on on-the-job experience
A debriefing should be carried out as soon as possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the response, and to analyze whether another action could have been taken.
This debriefing will enable plans to be updated, and in particular crisis management plans and procedures to be modified in line with lessons learned. Enhanced training will be provided through training sessions and field exercises to improve team preparation.
