6. Mistakes to avoid
Communicating LCA results, particularly comparative ones, to the general public or to customers can only be done if the study has been conducted in full compliance with the relevant ISO standards. Although the requirements of these standards can sometimes be restrictive, compliance with them guarantees the scientific validity of the results and enables advanced environmental communication in accordance with the ISO 14020 series of standards (environmental labeling).
