INTRODUCTION
This dossier deals with numerical data relating, on the one hand, to non-ferrous steel and alloy grades used in the manufacture of valves for reciprocating internal combustion engines and, on the other, to nickel- and cobalt-based steel and alloy grades used in the manufacture of parts and equipment that must resist creep under certain stresses.
Other numerical data concerning refractory steels and alloys are covered in the dossier.
which also sets out the standardization and designation rules for these steels and alloys.
