ABSTRACT
Numerous bonding applications exist in wood industries. The first transformation of wood includes the fabrication of chip-wood panels, paneling, latte wood and the jointing of veneers. The second transformation includes decorative sandwich panels and the fabrication of wood-based furniture and finished products and possibly other materials. In order to understand the process of wood bonding, it is essential, at the same time, to study the woodworking machines that are used for bonding.

INTRODUCTION
We have studied the
, the characteristics of woods and adhesives that influence glued wood assembly, and in the file
the different families of glues and adhesives used in the woodworking industry.
In this and the next dossier, we'll look at the many applications of gluing in the woodworking industries.
We will distinguish several stages:
Primary wood processing, which includes the manufacture of chipboard (particleboard, MDF-medium density fiberboard), plywood, glued-laminated timber, panelling, lathing and veneer jointing;
secondary processing, which includes sandwich panels, various decorative panels obtained by laminating plastic films onto the previous panels, and finally the manufacture of furniture and finished products based on wood (and possibly other materials).
To understand how wood is glued together, we need to study the woodworking machines used for gluing.
