ABSTRACT
Beam in flexure modeling is one approach of the modeling of preconstraint assemblies with a single bolt. It allows for dealing with assemblies of low thickness compared with other dimensions and to which the VDI modeling cannot be applied. Accurately implemented, it reflects the non-linear behavior of the bond under the action of an external load and allows for the fatigue calculation of the assembly component and the optimization of the value of the prestress force to be installed.

INTRODUCTION
This second part presents another approach to modeling prestressed single-bolt connections: flexural beam modeling. This allows us to deal with connections whose thickness is small compared with other dimensions, and for which VDI modeling is no longer applicable.
Correctly applied, it accurately reflects the non-linear behavior of the connection under the action of an external load, and enables fatigue calculation of the connecting element and optimization of the value of the prestressing to be installed.
