2. Different types of asynchronous motors
2.1 General
The only difference between the various types of asynchronous motor is the rotor.

In all cases, the lestator remains, at least in principle, the same: it consists of a wound coil distributed inside a cylindrical casing acting as a frame, and housed inside a magnetic circuit supported by this casing. This magnetic circuit is made up of a stack of laminations, in the form of circular rings, into which the notches parallel to the machine axis are cut.
