6. How can the initiative be financed?
To accelerate the rollout of ISO 50001, the French government has set up the PRO-SMEn program. This program awards a bonus to companies that implement an energy management system compliant with ISO 50001. The subsidy is granted once the company has obtained its certificate. The amount is equal to 20% of annual energy expenditure excluding VAT. It is capped at €40,000. The certificate can cover one or more sites. To obtain this subsidy, you must register, submit an application, and wait for payment.
An identification questionnaire can be downloaded from the web
