12. Example of production, costs and impacts: development of the Baie de Somme
The choice of a large site with a provocative name, home to an ecological sanctuary, is an opportunity to identify unfavorable or favorable impacts.
The tidal survey in the English Channel (figure 7) shows two highly favorable zones, one of which runs from Dieppe to Boulogne. This zone could be used for a large-scale development, one of whose roots could be between Dieppe and Le Tréport, the other between Berck and Boulogne. The site shown and evaluated connects to the coast a few km east of Dieppe and a few km north of Berck (figure 8).
