3. Choice of materials
The materials used for internal piping must be suitable for pressure vessels and have a minimum operating temperature lower than or equal to that of the fluid being transferred.
Material grades and associated standards for pressure vessels are defined in building codes.
For example, seamless tubes must be ordered in accordance with standard
NF EN 10216-5
for European regulations and according to the
ASME B36.19
