9. Computational Geometry

The sixteenth general mathematical framework is computational geometry, a branch of computer science devoted to the study of algorithms that can be expressed in geometric terms.

An example of this is the determination of the convex hull of a set of points by a closed polygonal line with a decreasing number of vertices, as shown in the figure 28 .
