The first known metal-hydrogen bonded compounds are [HCo(CO) 4 ] and [H 2 Fe(CO) 4 ]. These hydride ligands correspond, most of the time, to a bond polarity métalδ+ Hδ , rarely to métalδ- Hδ+ . In water, this translates into acidity....
