Type of flows
By flow, we mean the "flow, movement" of products.
In the context of continuous handling, only continuous flows are concerned. A flow is considered continuous when it is materialized along a predetermined, continuous path.

Circuit marking
Two distinct forms are possible:
a ) the circuit is fully and continuously materialized by all the equipment, i.e. by the structure and the means of movement (e.g. belt conveyor, roller conveyor, roller conveyor, slat conveyor, etc.);
b ) the circuit is not entirely continuous, i.e. only part of the equipment (one or two rails, one or two chains) is continuous and the means of movement is made up of separate elements (balancelles), quantified...
