Securing the supply chain is a vast topic, on which the literature is relatively recent: companies' concerns about supply chain risks have been greatly exacerbated by the events of recent years.
Most studies focus on a single element of security – visibility, collaboration, agility... This dossier proposes a global approach, based on all these key elements, in two stages: risk reduction and risk management. The tools and principles are not new, it's the way in which they are used and implemented that makes the difference: securing the supply chain must be seen as a philosophy in its own right.
