2.1 The rental business

Hire with a driver is one of the regulated transport professions; this is no longer the case for hire without a driver. On the other hand, access to the profession of rental with driver is subject to conditions comparable to those applicable to transport operators. In fact, the two registration registers have been merged.

Commercial vehicle leasing involves making a vehicle, with driver, available to the lessee for a specified period. We need to clarify the boundaries between this activity and other related activities:
