1.1 Positioning

The X64 program is designed to replace the R19 vehicle in the lower mid-range segment (M1 segment).

The originality of this program lies in the differentiation of body styles offered on the same mechanical basis (4 and 5-door sedans, MPVs, coupes, convertibles, station wagons). For Renault, this openness is a major advantage in a highly conventional competitive environment.

In the range, the integration of this new program will respect the current customer segmentation, although, given the strength of the concepts, cannibalization "peaks" in adjacent segments.
