3. Two-level fractional factorial designs 2k–p

Two-level fractional factorial designs are very useful, as they considerably reduce the number of trials. However, for the results of such designs to be correctly interpreted, you need to be familiar with the theory of aliases, which we'll describe using a 2 3 design.

3.1 Contrasts and equivalence relations
