2. Industrial site projects

In this section, after a brief definition of the project, the main project development phases, reference systems and deliverables are described. All these notions are essential in the definition of the Operator and Engineering information systems. Indeed, these systems must organize information flows throughout the life of the site, these flows being structured by the project repositories and their content being the source of the deliverables required by each player.

According to ISO 10006, a project is defined as follows:

"A project is a single process consisting of a set of coordinated and controlled activities, with start and end dates, undertaken with the aim of achieving an objective in line with specific requirements, including time, cost and resource constraints".
