6. Contribution to the industrialization process

Drawing up schematics is an important activity in the process of industrializing a process. They must be in line with the milestones linking the phases (figure 12 ).

These diagrams are not the only ones needed to build and operate a plant. Other diagrams are produced, particularly during the construction phase: detailed layout diagrams, isometrics, 3D views, etc. But the set of drawings presented here is the very heart of the process.

Drawing up schematics during the industrialization process cannot be done by one man alone. It requires a systematic methodology involving many different trades and disciplines. The quality of the work can only be achieved by a team, where everyone takes ownership of the content....
