4. Web and social network monitoring

In the history of the Internet, the first systems to be developed were Gopher, ftp and the web. Then came collaborative exchange and sharing sites such as blogs and Web 2.0. And the third phase involves social networks, crowdsourcing and Opendata. The Internet evolves as a network, taking on fractal or even neural forms, even as it develops, like a mille-feuille, in successive layers of uses, business models, applications and technological platforms. This ecosystem-based development has followed the web sphere, the blogosphere, the social sphere and now the data sphere. These developments are based on simplicity of use, accessibility and technological platforms.
