3. Fundamental principles

To keep a clear head, it's a good idea to go back to process fundamentals and revisit best practices. Have the widespread use of digital tools to support processes rendered them obsolete, or do we need to transpose them to new technologies?

3.1 Distinguish between "products" and their documentation

To fully grasp the origins of potential difficulties in process analysis, we need to return to the problem of the medium of exchange, communication between people, between people and machines, and models of representation, with machines increasingly acting as intermediaries between players.

This is the classic problem of the object itself and its model(s): "map and territory".
