3.1 Self-check

ISO 8402 gives the following definition:

"A form of control in which a natural person exercises his or her own control over the result of his or her work, the rules of which are formally defined in quality assurance or quality management provisions."

• Reduce the number of defects to ensure zero defects on each workstation;
