2. Typology of collaboration strategies

Given the extreme diversity of situations, it is impossible to generalize and treat all cooperative strategies in the same way. It's better to adopt a typological approach, in order to highlight several cases likely to pose specific management problems. To build this typology, we need to consider which criteria seem to be the most discriminating, and then cross-reference them.

2.1 Economic criterion of the objectives of the merger

First of all, situations can be distinguished according to the main objective pursued by the partners.
