3. State of the art
The aim of this section is not to draw up an exhaustive list of existing exoskeletons (several dozen new platforms appear every year, with new applications and technologies), but rather to present a number of representative devices for each of the four main types of use: augmentation/preservation, suppletion, rehabilitation and teleoperation.
