1. Regulation and 3R transformation of packaging waste
Enacted on February 10, 2020, the Anti-Waste and Circular Economy Act (AGEC) set new ambitious targets for reducing the environmental impact of packaging, particularly household packaging.
Following on from the Single Use Plastics (SUP) Directive, it has enriched and often exceeded European provisions, positioning France as a leader on these issues.
