3. Reuse

3.1 Regulations: transition to national level for reuse

The Environmental Code (Art. L. 541-1-1) defines reuse as "any operation whereby substances, materials, or products that are not waste are used again for a purpose identical to that for which they were designed."

Reuse can mean three different things, both for the manufacturer marketing the product and for the consumer.

  • Reuse of pre-packaged products in reusable packaging
