6. Conclusion
The practice of rinsing non-refillable containers has evolved to meet the needs of packaging in the reduced space required by carousel filling. This has also made it possible to include this type of machine in the aseptic filling process, for which the rinser-filler-capper BLOC was made possible in a sterile, confined enclosure. The introduction of carousel rinsers seems to have been at the origin of the packaging of plunger-type kegs incorporated by one or more carousel machines, since only injection is used for keg processing, and the application became obvious by multiplying the number of carousels, if need be. In bottle washing, it has been shown that the effectiveness of soaking is mediocre, so carousel washing is now a feasible option.
