4. Packaging marking

By affixing a mark to a transport packaging or IBC, the manufacturer certifies that the mass-produced packaging corresponds to the approved type of construction, and that the conditions cited in the approval have been met. This certification of conformity to the type of construction is ensured by the implementation of a production (or product) quality assurance system approved by the Minister of Transport and established on the basis of the European Communities.

4.1 Transport packaging

When a packaging for dangerous goods meets the specifications and has passed the mechanical tests, it must be marked to authenticate its conformity with the requirements. This marking includes the following information:
