This involves coating a substrate (paper, aluminum, etc.) by extruding a layer of molten polymer with subsequent heat-sealing properties.

Thanks to their excellent adhesion to paper, cardboard, aluminum and many other polymers, ethylene-acrylic ester copolymers are ideal for use either as binders or as sealing layers in extrusion-coating and co-coating processes.

  • These qualities offer the following advantages:

    • excellent stretchability ;

    • very good adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including aggressive food products;

    • good adhesion to inks ;

    • Suitable for mixing with polyethylene in all proportions ;
