5. Extrusion-coating
This involves coating a substrate (paper, aluminum, etc.) by extruding a layer of molten polymer with subsequent heat-sealing properties.
Thanks to their excellent adhesion to paper, cardboard, aluminum and many other polymers, ethylene-acrylic ester copolymers are ideal for use either as binders or as sealing layers in extrusion-coating and co-coating processes.
