4. Restrictive measures applied to businesses

This article discusses French legislation (in particular the AGEC law of 2020) applicable as of July 3, 2025, and sets out the timetable for the application of the rules of the PPWR regulation of December 19, 2024.

The implementation of most of the provisions of the PPWR depends on the publication of implementing acts that the European Commission must adopt between 2026 and 2038 and which are therefore not known at the date of publication of this article.
