3. EMC maintenance of protections for conducted or radiated immunity

Protection against aggression is always subject to stress. In the case of peak shavers, manufacturers specify a certain number of activations beyond which the protection's performance is no longer guaranteed. Here, we take a fairly generic look at the different types of protection that can be used, and then analyze the maintenance actions required for each type.

3.1 EMC maintenance of immunity filters

Filters can be used nominally to exclude a part of the spectrum of an input (in the broad sense of receiver of aggression – this can be a component output) subjected to a disturbance.
