This documentation, which is specific to the maintenance department, includes all general documents, both internal and external, which concern the core maintenance business and are not specific to any particular piece of equipment. Examples include :

• books dealing with maintenance problems, both from a general or organizational point of view and from a technical point of view;

• general or specialized maintenance encyclopedias ;

• technical, general or specialized magazines ;
