10. Conclusion

Nuclear boiler components "age", and there have even been cases of premature damage, but maintenance enables us to manage and compensate for these effects. The plants remain highly reliable, and continue to supply around 80% of the electricity consumed in France at a reasonable price, without any accidents having had any significant impact on people or the environment.
