INTRODUCTION
In the first booklet on maintenance in nuclear power plants, we recalled the design principles and operating modes of a unit, and described the general arrangements for its maintenance from the political, human and organizational points of view. This second booklet reviews the main boiler components. After a brief reminder of the design and manufacturing conditions, it describes the experience gained with each of them, the problems encountered, the maintenance strategies and programs implemented, and the outlook for their life expectancy.
