The rapid evolution of additive manufacturing technologies relies largely on the development of polymer materials specifically formulated to meet the unique demands of additive processes, including layer-by-layer fabrication, high thermal gradients, rapid solidification or polymerization kinetics, and the resulting mechanical anisotropy.
