7. Packaging machines

All modern production lines integrate a packaging machine. This is generally located at the end of the line, i.e. after the product has been manufactured and before it is stored in the warehouse. The right combination of packaging material and packaging machine not only ensures high productivity, but also guarantees the best-before or best-before date for the consumer.

While its operation can be stopped in the case of self-preserving products (textiles, tobacco, confectionery), this is not the case for fresh products (charcuterie, dairy products, fish fillets, etc.).
