6. Process evolution

Processes are evolving faster and faster, and both processors and line manufacturers are becoming increasingly imaginative in their attempts to produce a finished complex with the desired properties in as few operations as possible, preferably in a single step.

As a result, most new flexible laminates and many rigid laminates are developed on coextrusion lines. It's impossible to cover all the possibilities in this article, but we'll look at the main developments below.
