The massive processing of process and product data (artificial intelligence concept) will drastically reduce machine set-up times to obtain a stabilized injection cycle and an injected part in line with specifications.
The increasing use of recycled polymer materials (RPMs) with less well-defined rheological characteristics than virgin polymer materials calls for the use of closed-loop control devices that adapt plasticizing and injection parameters to on-line pressure and temperature measurements.
