Cycle à vide; dry cycle

Injection cycle without filling, holding or cooling phase. It is designed to evaluate the performance of the injection molding machine in terms of speed, excluding factors related to part production.

Clamping unit

Part of the press grouping together the functions linked to mold movements and part ejection: press platens, clamping cylinder, knee-joint, ejection cylinder, etc.

Injection unit

Part of the press housing the injection functions: pontoon, screw, hopper, injection cylinder, dosing motor, etc.
