  • Positive uses for polypropylene

    Thanks to its innocuousness and resistance to sterilization by boiling water, polypropylene enables perfectly sterile packaging of food products. The fact that it can be used from the freezer to the microwave oven also greatly reduces the risk of contamination. Super-pure grades obtained with metallocene catalysts can even be used for medical applications.

  • Health and safety

    Polypropylene production presents no specific hazards, as the monomer is not very toxic.

    Note the danger of polymer powders, which can cause respiratory allergies and form explosive mixtures with air.
