2. Identify data to be managed on internal and external process actors

For each process to be managed, you need to identify the actors involved in the information flows:

  • internal players involved in the – production, logistics, HR, safety, environment – processes and the number and location of employees who will be required to share data;

  • actors involved externally in the – processes customers, suppliers, subcontractors – and the corresponding number of people who will have to share/update/transmit or receive the data.

With a view to pooling tools and resources at a later stage, you'll be looking at which players share data or tasks.
