3. Identifying substances

As a minimum, you must identify the hazardous substances contained in your product. For each substance thus identified, you will note :

  • identification: chemical name (if necessary, different chemical names) ;

  • its composition: percentage by mass ranges in general;

  • its identification numbers in CAS commercial inventories ;

  • its identification numbers in the European regulatory inventories CE, EINECS, EILINCS, INDEX ;

  • registration (REACh) and marketing authorization (REACh) numbers;

  • its inclusion in regulatory lists (positive or negative, other obligations) including CLP Annex (Harmonized Classification), see CLP-listed substance
