3. Determine hazardous properties and compare your data with DSD classification criteria

The relevant information on the substance will be classified according to three types of hazards, which group together several hazard classes to be determined:

  • Physical hazards: explosive, oxidizing, flammable.

  • Health hazards: short- and long-term toxicity, corrosion and irritation, sensitization, carcinogenicity, mutagenicity, reproductive toxicity, other toxicological properties.

  • Environmental hazards.
