AEGLs

Acute Exposure Guideline Levels . These are values defined by the EPA to protect the population in the event of accidental emissions of chemical substances into the atmosphere.

BMD

• BenchMark Dose: this is a dose producing an effect corresponding to a change in response level compared with a control group.

• BMD10: this is the dose that produces 10% of cancers in a study.
