1. Players involved

Different types of OHS events can occur in different contexts, involving a wide variety of players with different needs and objectives.

This article is intended for any person or organization wishing to set up or participate in a structured internal investigation process aimed at raising the level of prevention, and thus reducing the probability and/or severity of accidents likely to affect them, through the use of feedback from past events.

It should be noted, however, that in France, other players such as the CSE, the occupational physician, the CARSAT, the labor inspectorate, the criminal police and the public prosecutor may be involved in OHS-related events, and will call on other procedures.
